Travel dates: January 24-25, 2015

To return I’ve said, to come back I shall. So I did..

Gloomy, but still an awesome sight to behold.

My camera definitely are full of photos of the beach, and I’ll never be tired of it.

My day job (oh, wait, it’s also during nights) hinders me to at least jump into places at least once a month (that’s the dream!). But I vowed that this year should be about travelling so I started the year with going back to the beach, along with my family and other relatives.

The highlight for me is to get surfing again. And because I am a newbie, I never got to practice properly because of those numerous swells, reflected by the weather. It was kind of dangerous, feeling that adrenaline rush, and kind of exasperated by the outcome of not properly riding the waves, but I still appreciate the fulfillment of even for a minute or so, I still did stood on my own.

I could sit here for hours.

I got to see that surf shop and cafe behind Costa Pacifica, saw that graffiti in town, attend a Sunday mass at Baler Church, visit the Hanging Bridge, Millenium Tree, the PAG-ASA Weather Headquarters and Ditumabo falls (a.k.a. Mother Falls) and got to taste grilled fresh fish again within those two days.

Well, I guess I still want to go back for a visit at the Lighthouse and the museum. And of course, to learn more about surfing. For the meantime, I have to work and try to make the world a better place (yep, you read that right!). Cheers to my first gloomy encounter of the beach!
